What Zpool is
Zpool is a technology platform that connects a driver sharing a journey with riders heading the same way. Zpool is not a transport operator and does not provide the ride itself.
Cost sharing, not a fare
A driver may recover the running cost of a trip, capped at 110 percent of that cost. A driver cannot profit, and the platform enforces this ceiling along with a weekly limit on the number of trips a private driver may share.
Payments
The cost share is paid by the rider directly to the driver. Zpool never holds your fare. Zpool charges a listing fee to the driver and a flat booking fee to the rider, both shown clearly and supported by a GST invoice.
Conduct and safety
Drivers must be verified before they can publish. Both riders and drivers are expected to travel respectfully and honestly. Reports can be raised in the app and are handled through the grievance process.
