A pool only works when everyone feels safe. These are the things Zpool builds in, from verified drivers to your data rights under Indian law.
Looking out for each other
Verified drivers
Every driver submits a licence, vehicle papers, insurance and pollution certificate. Our team reviews them before any trip can be published.
Your number stays private
Your real phone number is not shown to the other person. Personal contact details are kept off screen.
Live trip on the map
Once a trip starts, the driver's location is shared with riders so the journey can be followed in real time.
Route deviation alerts
If the vehicle leaves the planned route, both the driver and riders are alerted at once so everyone stays aware.
Women only and men only trips
Drivers can restrict a trip by gender. The rule is enforced at booking, not left to chance.
Grievance redressal
A named Grievance Officer reviews reports within a 30 day window, as required by Indian IT Rules.
Reputation you can see
Ratings are earned on real completed trips, never self reported. A trust tier gives you a quick read on the other person before you book.
Identity verified, building a rating history.
Five or more rated trips, averaging 3.0 and above.
Twenty or more rated trips, averaging 4.0 and above.
Fifty or more rated trips, averaging 4.5 and above.
Privacy under the DPDP Act
Zpool handles personal data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Consent you control
Permissions like location are asked for in plain language, and you can manage them whenever you like.
See and download your data
View a summary of what Zpool holds about you, and request a full copy to download.
Delete your account
Ask to delete your account and your personal data is removed, with only records the law requires kept and anonymised.

We are honest about what is live and what is not. These are being built and are not available yet:

- Spending your green points
Good to know
Drivers are verified before they can publish. Phone numbers stay private, the trip is shown live on the map once it starts, and both sides are alerted if the vehicle leaves the planned route. A six digit pickup code makes sure only the people who booked get on board.
