How it works

One journey, shared fairly

Zpool connects a driver who is already travelling with riders heading the same way. Here is the whole idea, start to finish.

The basics

Pooling in three steps

Step 1

A driver shares a trip

Someone already driving your way publishes their route, departure time, free seats and a per seat cost within the fair ceiling.

Step 2

You find a matching seat

Search by where you are going and when. Zpool shows trips that pass through your route, sorted by earliest departure or lowest cost.

Step 3

Book, ride and split the cost

Reserve a seat, share a pickup code at the start, and pay your share of fuel and tolls directly to the driver. One less car on the road.

Not a taxi app

Sharing a ride, not selling one

Three rules sit at the centre of Zpool. They are built into the platform, not just printed on a page.

Driver led journeys

Nobody is dispatched and nobody hails a stranger. A driver publishes a trip they are already taking, and riders heading the same way book a seat.

Cost sharing, not earning

The total a driver can collect is capped at 110 percent of the trip's running cost. A driver recovers fuel and wear, never turns a profit. The ceiling is built into the platform.

You pay the driver directly

Your seat money goes straight to the driver by cash or UPI. Zpool never holds your fare and never takes a cut of it. We charge only a small, clearly shown booking fee.

If you are riding

Book a seat

  1. 1

    Search your route

Enter your start, destination and date. Filter for a female only ride or a preferred time window if you wish.

  2. 2

    Book a seat

Pick a trip, set your exact pickup and drop point along the route, and reserve. You see the fare share and booking fee before you confirm.

  3. 3

    Ride with confidence

Share your pickup code at the start, follow the trip on the map, and rate each other afterwards.

If you are driving

Offer a seat

  1. 1

    Get verified once

Add your licence, vehicle and documents. Our team reviews them, usually within 24 hours, before you can publish.

  2. 2

Publish a trip or a commute

List a one off journey, or set up a recurring weekday commute and create that day's trip in a tap.

  3. 3

    Accept riders and travel

Review seat requests, lock your passenger list, check riders in with their pickup code, and recover your running cost.

Pooling vs a cab

A different idea of a ride

Zpool is not a cheaper taxi. It is a seat in a journey that was already happening.

Questions

Good to know

No. Zpool is carpooling. A driver publishes a journey they are already making and shares the empty seats. There is no dispatch, no hailing and no surge pricing. You join a trip that was happening anyway.
