Fewer cars, more company
Zpool is a carpooling app built for India. We want the journeys people already make to carry a few more people, so the road is lighter for everyone.
What we believe
Roads are full of empty seats
Most cars on an Indian road carry one person. Each of those empty seats is a journey someone else is making alone, in another car, at the same time.
Sharing should not mean profiting
Carpooling works when it stays about cost, not income. That is why the fair price ceiling and the weekly trip limit are built into Zpool, not left to goodwill.
Trust is the whole product
Verification, private numbers, live trips and honest ratings are not extras. They are the reason a stranger feels like a co-passenger.
Sharing a ride, not selling one
Three rules sit at the centre of Zpool. They are built into the platform, not just printed on a page.
Driver led journeys
Nobody is dispatched and nobody hails a stranger. A driver publishes a trip they are already taking, and riders heading the same way book a seat.
Cost sharing, not earning
The total a driver can collect is capped at 110 percent of the trip's running cost. A driver recovers fuel and wear, never turns a profit. The ceiling is built into the platform.
You pay the driver directly
Your seat money goes straight to the driver by cash or UPI. Zpool never holds your fare and never takes a cut of it. We charge only a small, clearly shown booking fee.
Zpool is on its way
The app is in the works for Android and iOS. Want to know more, or partner with us as we launch across India? We would be glad to hear from you.
